UHC End of AEP Reminders

There are only a few days left of the Medicare Annual Enrollment Period (AEP)! Here are a few things to keep in mind as we head toward December 7.

End of AEP eModel Office Rules

EDC eModel offices must try to have all their desks cleared and all applications entered into eModel on or before close of business on Thursday, December 10, 2016.
Bar coded Chase paperwork* must be processed and submitted to UnitedHealthcare promptly using current business practices via overnight mail or FTP.
Applications processed or Chase paperwork received after the cut-off will not prevent an application from processing as long as it was entered in to eModel in a timely manner and was received and signed by the agent on or before December 7, 2016.
If you receive AEP applications in your office after the AEP cut-off, they still must be entered in eModel or submitted to UnitedHealthcare for processing.

*All Chase applications reported as “missing” must be located and submitted on or before December 31, 2016.

Producer Help Desk Hours
UnitedHealthcare offices will be closed Thursday for the Thanksgiving holiday. However, the Producer Help Desk (PHD) will open for extended hours to support your agents through the end of AEP:

Monday–Friday: 7 a.m. – 8 p.m. CST
Wednesday, December 7: 7 a.m. – 10 p.m. CST
